Ian Scott
Contemporary Artist
In recent years I have focused on developing and refining my own formula for a water soluble beeswax. During that time of research I have taken a step back from promoting my work. Now I am in the next phase of development where I am beginning to explore the possibilities of this innovative media and how it opens up new possibilities across my work in drawing, painting and sculpture.
I live and work in East Lothian, Scotland, where I have a small studio and workshop. I moved back up to area in 2004 after completing my undergraduate degree in Visual Arts at the now renamed University of Bolton. I then went on to do C&G 7303 Certificate for Teaching Adult Learners, at Edinburgh Telfords College. Subsequently I have done some lecturing and adult education classes. In 2011 I completed a Masters of Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone, in Dundee.
