Above are my initial explorations in stone sculpture, mostly in local lime stone which I could source locally. The limestone contains many small fossils which enhance the timeless nature of the material and forms.

One of the titles of these works is Boundary Stane, as in a philosophical or intellectual boundary or marker, a point to show the limitations of the mind. where mystery lies beyond.  Following this series of works I went on to working in wood mainly for the speed of developing forms.
