In recent years my sculptural work has focused more on woodcarving as I enjoy the whole process. From the sharpening and making of the tools to the processing and carving of the wood.

The themes balance hope and reality, inspired by the local landscape and activities. The play with scale to engage your imagination bringing the struggles of life into a domestic setting. The hand carved marks are deliberately left to contrast with the machined surfaces.. The works are either unique, artist proofs for limited edition series.
